General
Cross-play beta for Destiny 2 will take place next week after the arrival of the Vault of Glass.

Destiny's original raid, "Vault of Glass," is coming to the sequel this weekend, May 22. Also announced is a cross-play beta that will take place from May 25 to May 27.

First up are the raids. It can begin at 10:00 am PDT / 5:00 pm BST on Saturday, at which point the Guardians can try to take the title of World First. This is a bit of a challenge.

Here's a checklist of what you need to do to win the race:

If you want to try out cross-play, the beta will be available to all players on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Stadia on May 25 via the cross-play beta playlist. Achieving three strikes on this playlist will earn you a unique "Stars Crossed" emblem. This beta is intended to test the matchmaking system, so friends cannot be invited.

Cross-play will be introduced to the game in Season 15, as announced in February, so if the beta goes well, it should be taken as a good sign that cross-play will be widely available by the fall. Once the full system is in place, it will also be possible to set a preferred platform for cross-play matchmaking.
