Thanks to the Metro Exodus developers at 4A Games, the PS5 DualSense controller can now be used much more fully on a PC than before. the PS5 controller has been working on Steam for more than a few months, but getting haptics to work has been on many developers' It was not high on their list. However, after a recent hotfix, haptics are now on for Metro players, with full DualSense feedback and adaptive triggers showing up. "Metro Exodus" is the first game to run haptics on a PS5 controller. It is not certain if this is the first PC game to run the PS5 controller's haptics, but it is certainly a high-profile game.

When we reviewed the PS5 from a PC gamer's perspective, we noted that we liked the DualSense controller. However, some are skeptical about putting money into a controller that will fail long before a comparable keyboard or mouse does.
