Battlefield 6" leaks continue

The upcoming "Battlefield," which is scheduled to be officially announced in June, has long been the subject of unconfirmed rumors, speculation, and even leaked screenshots in recent weeks. The developer, DICE, has poked fun at the furor by likening it to a delicious spaghetti dish.

Despite this, more shots leaked online over the weekend: an album posted on Imgur with tons of new shots and, since this is the Internet, a big laughing man banner attached. redditor pieced them together to create some sort of order. It's creating some sort of order.

Gunships, rockets, big bangs, it's all what you'd expect and is consistent with the longstanding rumors that the game is set in the near future. Only a few years ago, the series called its 15th game "Battlefield 1," which would raise eyebrows if you were an armchair general.

Fans have been told that this is footage from the game's reveal trailer, but PC Gamer reports that the screenshot above is not the case. Sources familiar with the video say it was made during Battlefield's development, but was never intended to publicly represent the game. It is unclear whether this is an internal rough cut, pre-visualization material, or an older target rendering, but the video is relevant to the development of the game.

In addition to these leaks, a curious TikTok video (discovered by VG 247) has appeared. The video is a mishmash of existing footage from other games, including what appears to be footage from the upcoming Battlefield; PC Gamer has been unable to confirm the authenticity of this video.

The last time we "properly" saw the game was last year, when some technical footage was briefly shown along with the upcoming Dragon Age.

Both DICE and EA have spoken vaguely about the game, which will be released later this year, so official news will be announced soon. Here is what we know so far about Battlefield 6.
