Sega will host a Sonic Central live stream this Thursday, May 27." The company will "premiere some of the projects, partnerships, and events for Sonic's 30th anniversary. Sega promised to announce plenty of Sonic news in 2020, but thanks to the pandemic, there wasn't much PC-related news. [A sequel to the live-action film is set to be released in April 2022, and the marketing wheels are probably in motion for that right now. Also, a Netflix animated series on Sonic is coming later this year, so there may be more news on that.

Of more interest to gaming fans is the recent listing of the Sonic Collection on a French retailer's website, and aside from the fact that it will be available on PS4, not much has been revealed. What games will be included is unknown, but there is very strong evidence that a "Sonic Colors" remastering project is in the works.
