Little Nightmares" opens to the public for free this weekend

You may be used to dramatic sales on Steam, but a flat 100% off is always fun to see. Through tomorrow afternoon, you can get the horror platformer Little Nightmares for free.

Little Nightmares is a 3D side-scroller in which you control a little girl called Six as she tries to get through a place with the difficult name Maw. Samuel Roberts said in his review that the game is "consistently tense, atmospheric, and disgusting."

The game has recently had a sequel, which may be why it is being advertised now; Little Nightmares 2 was released in February of this year, and Stacy Henry described it as "a horror fan's dream come true." It follows the same platformer style, but this time it's a little boy called Mono. As it is, I'll be the one having nightmares.

You can get Little Nightmares for free on Steam until 5pm UTC tomorrow. This isn't the only free game this weekend, Steam is also offering an open world sale along with a free RTS, Company of Heroes 2.
