Here's the cinematic trailer for the 40K shooter Necromanda: Guns for Hire

With Warhammer 40k's first-person shooter on the horizon, Focus Home Interactive and Streum On Studio have released the opening scene for Necromunda: Hired Gun. The game is a stealth and wall-running shooter from mid-tier developer Streum On Studio and takes place in Necromunda, a dystopian industrial hellhole city familiar from the Warhammer 40k universe.

The opening cinematic gives an overview of the hellish world of Necromunda's Underhive, where the game takes place, and the bounty hunters who live there. It also shows a bit of Martyr's End, a nexus of bounty hunters who purchase guns, ammunition, and cybernetic upgrades for themselves and their dogs. There is also some space gothic architecture.

Early impressions from influencers have praised the gameplay and movement of Necromanda: Hired Gun, while praising the gameplay and movement of Hired Gun, expectations that the game would be loaded with outstanding graphics and ultra-high-resolution textures expectations are tempered. Also noted are the good level design and interesting vertical environments for combat.

Streum On Studio is the developer of the previous Warhammer 40k FPS "Space Hulk: Deathwing" and the 2011 cult FPS "EYE: Divine Cybermancy Necromunda Hired Gun" due out June 1, available on Steam.
