Resident Evil Producer Peter Fabiano Leaves Capcom for Bungie

Peter Fabiano, founder of Capcom Japan's Global Productions and producer of the recent Resident Evil, has left Capcom to work for Bungie. He spent 13 years at Capcom, most notably as producer of Resident Evil 7, the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, and Village, where he also played Peter Walken in Resi 7 (he was one of the paranormal investigators who was savagely murdered by Mia Winters).

Fabiano announced his departure on Twitter. "It's hard to write the best sentence, so I decided to keep it simple: thank you, Capcom, for allowing me to grow with you over the past 13 years. I am grateful and will cherish this experience forever."

"I want to thank everyone inside and outside the studio who has supported me over the years. I am continuing my journey in my new position at Bungie, working with some amazing people. Eyes Up Guardian."

These last words clearly indicate that Fabiano will be working on Destiny 2 in his new role as Bungie's Production Department Manager.

After a bit of a slump, Reg is back with "Resident Evil 7," which breathes new life (so to speak) into the zombie horror series. Resident Evil 7: Resident Evil Village is its sequel, featuring skyscraper vampires and gruesome violence.
