All three chapters of Dontnod's supernatural sibling adventure Tell Me Why are available for free download and save in the Windows Store all month.

The first act of Tell Me Why was made permanently free earlier this year. But now, while not on Steam, the entire trilogy is available for free in the Windows Store, for reasons that have not been disclosed. In fact, Dontnod has not revealed why Tell Me Why is free.

Given the subject matter, it is likely that "Tell Me Why" will be free for Pride Month, and PCG reviewer Sam Greer felt that the game could have been something special had it not immediately detoured into Dontnod's signature psychic shenanigans.

"'Tell Me Why' also wants to tell a dark and mysterious story about the twins' past. A dangerous hooded figure pursues the twins and hides a conspiracy, while a supernatural threat hangs over everything. The whiplash felt when the game swings between these two tones is near fatal.

But when the focus is on small-town relationships, Tell Me Why becomes something very special. At the very least, it's worth playing at least once, now that the entire piece is free.
