No Man's Sky gets a major visual makeover and a rideable flying creature
[It hasn't even been two weeks since the last free update that added Mass Effect's Normandy as a frigate. And Hello Games' space exploration sandbox already has another update. Called [Prisms], the update is a major visual overhaul for No Man's Sky; Prisms includes:

In addition, you can now tame and ride flying aliens. Check out the Prisms trailer:

With so many new additions, No Man's Sky's photo mode has also been upgraded, with improved depth of field and bloom control.

The visuals are now more realistic.

Keep in mind that some of the visual improvements depend on your PC specs and whether you are already using the Ultra setting. However, it remains a long list of features that include welcome technical improvements such as screen spatial reflection (SSR), DLSS (if you have an Nvidia RTX card), parallax occlusion mapping, refraction of cockpit and glass-based parts, improved particle effects No less.
