Battlefield 6 is just around the corner, but before the June 9 announcement, Amazon Prime members can get Battlefield 4 for free: from June 1 through June 20, you can get a code for the regular version on Twitch's Prime Gaming. The only code available is an Origin code (sorry Steamers), but it's free.

Battlefield 4 takes place six years after the fictional "2020 War." Evan gave the game an 84 when he reviewed it in 2013, calling it a "visually and soundly satisfying and reliably intense FPS," if not a major departure from Battlefield 3.

It seems odd to rate Battlefield 5 over its predecessor, but Battlefield 4 was generally better received. It's a good way to lure newbies into the series and give fans a chance to step back into the older games. If anything, I'm hoping that EA will keep people busy long enough to plug all the holes in the horribly leaky ship that is Battlefield 6.

EA is struggling to keep its latest title under wraps, and while we won't know anything for sure until the June 9 announcement, rumors are already swirling online about the game's supposed theme and screenshots. EA and DICE are relatively indifferent to the matter, cheekily going all spaghetti They seem to be thinking about it.
