In Frostpunk, you take control of the last city on earth, but to call it a "city" is an exaggeration. In reality, it is merely a small collection of people desperately trying to survive in an ice-covered apocalypse. And it's not just the weather or lack of resources that you have to contend with: people have little patience for nonsense and must make sacrifices, but push too hard and they will start fighting back. It's an old game, but a very good one: we called it a "grim and engrossing survival strategy" game with 89% of our reviews, and later chose it as the best sim of 2018.
