General
The real house alarm can now be triggered when the last base is raided.

A new month means a new Rust update, and while there are some pretty interesting June updates for Rust, perhaps the strangest is that the Rust+ app now supports IFTTT. [IFTTT (If This, Then That) is a software platform that connects different apps, devices, and systems to each other. For example, with an IFTTT applet, giving a YouTube song a thumbs up will automatically add the song to a Spotify playlist. Or when a weather app notifies you that it's going to rain, you can use an IFTTT applet to send a text. That's how it works: if you have two things that support IFTTT, you can connect them to each other and perform a bit of automation.

The Rust+ app allows you to monitor your Rust server even when you're not actually playing, but now that it supports IFTTT, you can integrate your app with other apps and devices. Want to sound an alarm or flash your home lights when someone is raiding your base? Want to automatically send a tweet when you are killed in the last minute to let your followers know who did it? Want to order something similar to a pizza from Domino's by pressing a button in the game" If everything involved supports IFTTT, you can now do all of these things, even the pretty ridiculous ones.

But for the average Rust player, there are some more down-to-earth changes in the June update. The new contact list system helps you get a better idea of other players you encounter, flagging them as friendly or unfriendly, and even putting a mark above their head (while looking at them through binoculars) to indicate if they have been mean to you before. This is part of a "rudimentary reputation system" that has been developed to make it easier for friendly players to spot players who tend to commit random murders.

"As for the majority of hardcore rustlers who kill everyone they find anyway, it is better to pretend this system does not exist." However, for those who are less interested in destroying and killing every single creature that passes in front of them, this system may help them find like-minded players to team up with!"

Maybe so. The June update also brought a model change to the animals, with better fur and the removal of "redundant bones" from some animals. While it is unfortunate that the bones are gone, the animals definitely look better. You should see that big bear!

More at ...... If you like to make movie-like videos of Rust's exploits, more advanced features have been added to the demo system, such as a scrub-able timeline and a shot manager. These record individual camera movements, FOVs, DOFs, and other properties." These shots can be played back in sync with the demo scene"

.

The quality of life has also been improved, including the ability to color-code wires and hoses. However, there are no new Twitch feeds this month.
