XCOM" studio rumored to be developing a turn-based game of Marvel characters.

According to a new rumor, longtime XCOM developer Firaxis is developing a "turn-based action game" featuring Marvel heroes. Codenamed "CODA," the redditor writes that "famous actors" will voice the characters, suggesting that it may be closer to recent Marvel movies than Square Enix's "Marvel's Avengers."

While this is a rumor and not yet confirmed, journalist Jason Schreier, who has covered numerous industry stories for Bloomberg and Kotaku, gives the rumor some credence on Twitter. He said, "These 2K leaks are true, but I don't think all of them will be announced at E3. Can't wait for Marvel XCOM though."

According to the same alleged leak, a new "Borderlands" spin-off starring Tiny Tina is also in development and will be revealed at E3 this month. That makes a little sense: Gearbox head Randy Pitchford had strongly hinted at a new "Borderlands" game just last month. The leaker wrote that the game could be called "Tiny Tina's Wonderlands" and would be similar to previous "Borderlands" games.

Other than that: ...... Yes, there will be a new NBA game this year (of course). According to the source of the leak, it's "Cthulhu meets Saints Row."

It's all still rumors, but with E3 2021 just around the corner, a full reveal will be forthcoming, and both Take-Two Interactive and Gearbox will be hosting live streams on June 12 and 14, respectively.
