Professional Hearthstone player abandons in the final of the Grand Masters tournament.

In an ongoing tournament, a Grandmasters Hearthstone player apparently disconnected from the server out of frustration instead of conceding to his opponent. Grandmaster Zakarya "xBlyzes" Hail has been in trouble with tournament management this season: he was deducted two points for missing a match and was also accused of trading wins.

In today's Grand Masters Playoff Match, xBlyzes had a string of draws against the excellent hands of his opponent, Frenetic. The stream commentator says, "This is a cruel way to lose a series." But at the same time, it is a very cruel way for Frenetic to have to sit and wait to get confirmation from management."

Some fans sympathize with the xBlyzes, while others despise them. Either way, the loss cost xBlyzes a spot in this year's Hearthstone World Championship.

As if it wasn't obvious from the furious resignation, xBlyzes is not taking it well. 'I want to die,' he tweeted shortly after the match.

"I lost the most important match of my life and I'm sorry for being angry," he replied to a poster who later accused him of being "unsportsmanlike.

Although a setback for him, xBlyzes, who is only 20 years old, will not be the last to be heard by the competitive Hearthstone community.
