Capcom's E3 Showcase will be Monday, June 14, featuring monsters, zombies, and lawyers

Capcom has had some problems of late, most notably suffering a massive hack last year. So far this year, Monster Hunter: Rise and Resident Evil Village have been released to high acclaim. The golden age continues.

While it's clearly the perfect time for Capcom to announce a new Dragon's Dogma (or God Hand if you dream of it), the E3 event seems to be focused on smaller updates. (Showcase time has been set: Monday, June 14, 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 a.m. BST.)

Capcom is not necessarily sending out the big guns here. Since most of these games have already been released, the plan is for continued support in the case of "Rise" and what DLC will be available for "Village". According to Capcom's leaks, the latter DLC will be multiplayer-specific, which is interesting to consider. Ace Attorney is a pack of previously released (but excellent) games in the series set in Victorian-era London, scheduled for release on July 27. Monster Hunter Stories 2 will also be released on PC in July.

The real question is, what does Capcom have left? A good bet would be the return of "Resident Evil Re:Verse," a multiplayer shooter set in the Resident Evil universe.

Perhaps Capcom has a surprise in store, another glimpse of the mysterious Pragmata (the project may have been renamed "Shield")? Or perhaps the long-rumored Dragon's Dogma 2 and Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition for PC would be welcome announcements. Whatever Capcom's PC title is, it will be featured here.
