The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti will go on sale today, June 10, at 6am PT / 2pm BST / 3pm CET. If there is any chance of actually being able to purchase it at that time, we would like to be prepared.

The RTX 3070 Ti sits between our two favorite graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080, in terms of price and performance. To put it simply, it's not quite the GPU we were hoping for, but if you think it's going to be easy to buy at launch, you won't be surprised.

Now, enough with the pessimism. Let's get into what we know about this card ahead of its release.

First of all, the RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition will only be available at Best Buy in the U.S. and Scan in the U.K. Nvidia has stopped selling these cards on their web store.

Despite opting to release the RTX 3080 Ti only for in-store sales, Best Buy reported that the RTX 3070 Ti will be available only online at launch.

Also, Best Buy notes that Best Buy has previously staggered the release of graphics cards to accommodate the huge demand for store pages and servers. This means that you should keep an eye on the store page for a while after the launch to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the card. Basically, don't give up if the stock appears to be gone at 6 a.m. PT.

If the Founders Edition is not available in your country, or if you are simply not interested in that model, third-party designed cards will also be available for purchase starting today. Some cards have an MSRP of $599 (£529, €619).

The following models have arrived from Nvidia and will be available in the UK at MSRP. Unfortunately, we have not been able to confirm prices in the U.S., but if you are looking to save a little cash, you should keep an eye on these cards.

As always, we recommend opening an account at your local retailer and entering as much information as possible in advance. Doing so will speed up the checkout process and prevent disappointment.

A furious refresh is also discouraged. You may need to press the F5 key several times to get the page to appear first, but be careful not to overdo it. We do not want to have a situation where the DDoS page appears after 6:00 a.m. We do not want to have a DDoS page appear after 6:00 a.m.

Scans will be under heavy demand later today and have considerable DDoS protection, so do not arrive too late. We also recommend that you stick around for a while on this site. I have heard of people successfully purchasing graphics cards by 30 minutes after the launch.
