PC Gamer's Game of the Year for 2020, Death Stranding, is updated with a director's cut version.

The video included constant references to Kojima's old Konami series. The trailer begins with Sam Porter Bridges, played by Norman Reedus, checking out an underground facility, with Metal Gear Solid music playing in the background. Soldiers wander through a lattice of cargo, much like the opening of Metal Gear Solid's Shadow Moses stage.

Sam finds a box, abandons the orange, and appears to get under the box like Solid Snake, but instead turns the box over and enters the top before becoming a fetus.

So what the hell did we learn here?
