At the Summer Games Festival, we got another exciting, albeit unfortunately brief, look at "Solar Ash," which was first unveiled last year, by Heart Machine, makers of Hyperlight Drifter, a colorful, dizzying platformer adventure, showed off a bit more gameplay featuring battles with impressive giant flying bosses.

To reach the winged monster, players must first surf to the top of the tower and jump onto the beast's back. Sliding down its armored back, he destroys the nodes and finally delivers a powerful kick to the head.

It's a short clip, but undeniably cool. Hopefully we'll see more of it in the near future. No specific release date has been set yet, but Solar Ash will be available on the Epic Games Store sometime this year.
