Meet the Hosts of This Year's PC Gaming Show at E3

The PC Gaming Show will air on June 13 at 2:30 p.m. PT/5:30 p.m. ET on twitch.tv/pcgamer. Now in its sixth year, E3 will once again feature the show's well-known hosts Sean "Day

" Plott and Frankie Ward. We also have a new addition, actor, cosplayer, and Final Fantasy XIV enthusiast Mica Burton

, who will be presenting a new look at the show.

Both are supergroups of PC gaming enthusiasts and esports analysts. Each host is a fantastic steward of PC gaming and has spent their careers providing expert insight and evangelism on every corner of the hobby, from the biggest esports tournaments and competitive FPS to MMOs, card games, and indie games. They are enthusiastic PC gamers just like us, and we couldn't be more pleased to have them help us organize the biggest event of the year for us.

But as you may have noticed in the photo above, things are a little different in 2021. Instead of buttoned-up suits, the hosts will be on stage in jumpsuits and equipment similar to what you might see on the bridge of Battlestar Galactica. This reflects the fact that we are broadcasting a PC gaming show from space.

Join us from space and from the E3 stage this Sunday, June 13, as we unveil 39 new trailers, game announcements, and interviews to a worldwide audience. For more information, see our article on the highlights of this year's E3.

Sean's ability to explain complex strategies in a fun and easy-to-understand way catapulted him into the early days of esports. Now an esports regular, he has moderated panels at BlizzCon, Geek & Sundry's Spellslingers series, Dota 2's The International tournament, and more recently the E3 PC Gaming Show and Magic: The Gathering 's esports league, and has appeared at over 100 shows and events.

Frankie Ward has spent the past decade as a producer, but only realized he could make gaming work when he produced the 2015 League of Legends World Quarterfinals coverage at Wembley for the BBC.

In July 2016, Frankie moved to Twitch as a producer for Twitch Studios, where she occasionally appeared on stage to cover for hosts who needed a break. This led to her hosting "The Bridge" on Ginx TV and the ESL Hearthstone Premiership Final in January.Since becoming a full-time host in April 2018, Frankie has hosted games including NHL 18, CSGO, PUBG Desk Host and has become the face of the Omen Esports Report along with Para Gilroy-Sen

In June 2018, she was given a major role co-hosting the PC Gaming Show at E3, which drew over 2 million viewers and the following February's ESL Intel Extreme Masters CS:GO Major Championship, where she served as a reporter and made her mark on the Counter-Strike esports scene.

Bringing humor, wit, and enthusiastic knowledge to the events she hosts, Frankie's outlook is that now that esports is a serious business, we can start enjoying it.
