Netflix's "Splinter Cell" series stars an aging, gray-haired Sam Fisher

The first images of Netflix's animated series "Splinter Cell" were revealed today at the Geeked showcase. The show's hosts wondered how long it had been since the "Splinter Cell" game (tell that to Ubisoft!). ), but gave a minimal overview of the show, although they kept referring to it in a rather annoying way.

This version of Sam Fisher is "an ex-Navy Seal who ends up working in the mysterious Third Echelon Division within the NSA," Jeff Keely said, introducing the image. It's all about black ops missions, stealth, and military tactics."

I'm up for old Sam: we got enough smooth-skinned youngsters out there already. It's time for the old man's beard.

Netflix unsurprisingly claims that the Netflix show will feature a "stellar talent team," but the announcement that the show will be scripted by Derek Kolstad somewhat confirms this. Kolstad has scripted many action films and worked on various television shows, but is best known as the creator and writer of the John Wick films. [Ubisoft is partnering with Netflix on the show, which will be produced by France's Fost Studios (which opened a new office last month) and Sun Studios.
