General
An 8-core Intel Comet Lake gaming PC with GeForce RTX 3070 costs $2,100.

We all know the situation - CPUs are incredibly hard to find in stock. If so, check out ABS Gladiator, where an Intel Core i7 10700KF processor and an EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra are now down to $2,099.99 on Newegg.

This is $100 below list price and apparently a "shell shocker" deal. What is shocking is that it is in stock; even in the $2,000 realm, it is unlikely that this gaming PC will be available for that long (it is in stock as of this writing).

Is this PC really a bargain? If you calculate the cost of the parts (including the Windows 10 license), it comes to about $1,730. That means a few hundred dollars more than the DIY route. In today's situation, consider yourself very lucky if you can get a GPU close to MSRP.

In this case, EVGA's custom-cooled GeForce RTX 3070 sells for $689.99 on the silicon-rich Parallel World. However, a quick look at recently closed listings on eBay shows that RTX 3070 cards are selling for over $1,200 in this universe. This is more than half the cost of this entire PC and a major reason why it must be sold out.

Price analysis aside, this is a well-rounded gaming system. The aforementioned CPU and GPU are mounted on a high-end Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite AX motherboard, along with 16GB of G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. It also features a 750W power supply unit with 80 Plus Gold certification.
