General
Back 4 Bloods will be online all the time at launch.

When asked if Back 4 Blood could be played offline with AI teammates in solo mode, developer Turtle Rock responded, "We are looking into ways to support offline in the future, but at launch you will need an Internet connection to play." This is unfortunate, as both Left 4 Dead games supported offline play, and some players had hoped that Back 4 Blood would follow suit. It also appears that split-screen play will not be available at launch, with Turtle Rock commenting that they hope to support it in the future, but not at launch.

Hopefully both features will be implemented in a post-launch update. Turtle Rock recently made a positive announcement that all players in the party will have access to the DLC as long as the leader owns it, as is the case with games like "Vermintide 2."

It helps that the DLC will not divide players, as the leader of the party will have access to the DLC, and the leader of the party will have access to the DLC, as is the case with games like "Vermintide 2.

Back 4 Blood is scheduled for release on October 12 and will have a PvP mode where teams control zombies.
