Tencent will now own a majority stake in Yager, the Berlin-based studio best known for [Spec Ops: The Line]. Jaeger has been largely invisible since 2012's Spec Ops: The Line. While the game did well critically, it did not do well financially for the studio. The space shooter Dreadnought was released in 2018, but the company laid off a third of its staff after its release.
