Ghosts of Tsushima, the elimination of the "Only PlayStation" badge probably means nothing.

For a moment this morning, I thought "Ghost of Tsushima" might be coming to PC soon. Those who read one of several reports noting that the "Only on PlayStation" branding that Sony has used for years to indicate that a title is exclusive has been removed in the updated box art for the game may have thought the same thing. Unfortunately, this minor branding change is probably as mundane as it looks, and should not be taken as a sign that a PC version of "Ghost of Tsushima" is in the works.

All of this speculation stems from a Reddit thread posted yesterday on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours (subsequently tagged 'Misleading' by the mods), which pointed out the box art changes on both Amazon and Sony's official website It seems to have stemmed from the fact that both Amazon and Sony's official website pointed out the changes to the box art. [Days Gone and Horizon: Zero Dawn: Two Sony Games Released on PC] "Days Gone" and "Horizon: Zero Dawn" have also had their exclusive brand names removed, but as numerous commenters in this thread have pointed out, since the launch of PS5, Sony has been Some of Sony's most recent exclusives, such as Demon's Souls and Ratchet and Clank, which are the least likely to appear on PC anytime soon, also lack this badge. Some don't even have this badge: Rift Apart, for example.

In other words, "Ghost of Tsushima" no longer has the exclusivity badge, but that does not mean that PC gamers are more likely to want to play "Ratchet and Clank," "Spider-Man: Miles Morales," or other PlayStation exclusives This does not make PC releases any more likely than PC titles such as "Ratchet and Clank" or "Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

However, this speculation and excitement makes sense. Sony recently promised to release more games on the PC in the future. Not long ago, no one would have even considered the possibility that Sony was hinting at a PC release from one of its first-party studios. These days, however, anything is possible if a PC version is eventually released, and while the elimination of the "PlayStation version only" badge should not be taken too seriously, it is a slight reminder that the gloves are completely off when it comes to which games can be played on which boxes. A few reminders. Sony's "MLB The Show 21" was released on Xbox this year, and with Game Pass.

If we see any indication that a PC release of Ghost of Tsushima is indeed imminent at some point, we'll be sure to let you know.
