General
Here's a gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 5600X and GeForce RTX 3070 for $1,700.

If you're looking for an all-new gaming PC, check out the ABS Gladiator on sale at Newegg for $1,699.99 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor and the hard-to-find Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070. Considering that GPUs typically fetch upwards of $1,000 on eBay, this is a good price for a complete gaming PC.

This also reflects a market where GPUs are incredibly scarce. The system is currently priced $300 below the list price of $1,999.99. The discounted per-part price (including Windows licensing costs) is about $200 more than it would cost to build the same system using your own hands and fingers.

In normal times, one would look for off-the-shelf deals that would undercut DIY pricing. But these are not normal times; a $200 premium is not terrible. It also helps that this is a well-rounded gaming PC. [5600X is a 6-core/12-threaded CPU based on AMD's latest generation Zen 3 architecture, and it comes on an Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus Wi-Fi motherboard. it's great that ABS chose a premium chipset, and this generation at that! (It is not uncommon for system builders to offload previous generation hardware with pre-built like the X470 motherboard.)

Other specs include 16GB (2x8GB) of DDR4-3000 RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 700W 80 Plus Gold power supply unit; we wish ABS had used a bit faster RAM (3200-3600), but DDR4 -3000 is by no means slow, and the capacity hits the sweet spot for gaming.

Given the current demand for GPUs, this product could sell out quickly. However, if you are on the fence about this product, you should consider it.
