New teardown difficulty options allow you to unlock everything at once

Tuxedo Labs, the developer of Teardown, has released a clever update for the game, introducing accessibility and difficulty options.

The explosive heist game now includes six new options that can make the game easier or harder." We did our best to balance the difficulty of Teardown to the appropriate level." If the game is too hard, too easy, or you just want a more relaxing experience, you can adjust it here"

.

The options are divided into two categories: campaign and sandbox. The former includes options to adjust game alarm times, increase or decrease ammunition and strength, and skip missions altogether. The accessibility of the sandbox mode allows you to unlock all levels and all tools instantly. There is also a nifty reminder of where the save file is, but there is no button to open that location from the game.

"I know there are a lot of different opinions about this kind of setup," developer Dennis Gustafsson tweeted upon announcing the update. 'Personally, I'm very grateful for what the game offers and there are many games I would have stopped playing without it. Accessibility options are just that, options, and it's always nice when a developer offers a way for more people to enjoy a game.

Teardown is still in Early Access on Steam, and Gustafsson regularly shares development nuggets on his Twitter feed. Recently, he showed off his fearsome Stalker Robot, a robot that is now in the process of being developed by the game's developers. It's still a long way from appearing in the game, but it still struck fear into us nuts. However, it's not as bad as when the modders filled the game with spiders.
