The RGB-lit fan delivers "more powerful cooling air directly into the palm of your hand. To be honest, the effect of adding lights to a mouse fan is questionable, but aesthetically it looks very cool. I usually stay away from colored gaming gear, but it actually looks pretty neat between the vents. At the very least, power consumption should be negligible: a normal-sized case fan spinning at 3000 rpm might only consume 3W relative to system power.

Products for sweaty hands during gaming are nothing new on the market; Andy has previously written about his experience with the "Gamer Goo" and found it surprisingly effective in improving grip strength.

In these cases, it is important to remember that one's own physical experience playing the game may be different from that of others. For players with hyperhidrosis of the palms or those who have problems with thermoregulation, a mouse with a built-in fan may make computer use more comfortable. Personally, a gaming space heater that is placed over the keyboard is better suited for me, as I have difficulty with cold hands.
