A new trailer for Destiny 2's "Solstice of Heroes" event, which will take place from July 6 to August 3, has been released.

"The last city of humanity will be built not by iron and stone, but by heroism and courage. Join your fellow Guardians in remembering those who stood up to defend their homeland. Eva Levante awaits you in the tower with words of thanks and promises of celebration."

The event's loot looks particularly cool, with class-specific solstice armor covered in a glowing pattern. Players can also collect equally shiny all-purpose adornments that match their subclass, along with "new ships, sparrows, and eye-catching cosmetics."
