Henry Cavill "can be a politician," said Witcher.

We at PC Gamer love Henry Cavill. It's a shame we don't actually know him, but he's so genuinely likable: he paints Warhammer miniatures, builds his own gaming PCs, and wishes people would leave him alone to play "Total War."

According to Steven Surjik, who directed the first two episodes of "The Witcher" Season 2, he also likes to work with him: in an interview with Brigade-Radio-One, Surjik said that when Cavill arrives on set, "He shows up on time, character, he shows up in costume, with his mark, and he understands every line."

"He knows the background of what he's doing, he knows what he's doing before and after, he knows the props he needs basically. And he also knows all the questions he wants to ask in order to inspire us and make us more fascinated by the process."

Surzik described Cavill as "a very private person" who "doesn't play second fiddle" when it comes to questions and conflicts on the set. He is direct and gets to the heart of the matter. If it's an argument, a motive for acting, or the impetus for what the scene is about, he is always extremely clear on how to get there."

He also noted that "he is very clear on what he is doing and how he is doing it.

Also, despite his private nature, Suljik says that Cavill makes other cast and crew members, especially newcomers, as welcome as possible. 'He looks out for everyone and knows everyone's name. He knows what they are doing and what they are doing. If there is someone new, he finds them and says, 'Who are you? ' and he asks them what they are doing. He's amazing. He's pretty good. He could be a politician."

He's also an enthusiastic handshake enthusiast, apparently.

"He shakes hands with everybody. He goes around the whole room. This is not a homemade film; it's a film about 800 people standing in line for lunch. It's a big movie. So when he shakes everybody's hand, I basically sit down.

Season 2 of The Witcher will debut on Netflix later this year. No specific date has been announced yet, but it could be soon: Netflix and CD Projekt are teaming up for WitcherCon, which will kick off on July 9 to showcase the show and the game
