The "Metro Exodus" studio is hiring for a new IP.

4A Games, the production studio behind Metro Exodus, has posted a job ad regarding "new IP." 4A seems to be looking for a lot of staff in general, but there are six positions labeled as new IP, three design positions and three artist positions.

The list of senior technical artists goes tonally to some interesting places, but there is not much that can be predicted about future games from the job descriptions: never use the word "impossible." Doing R&D means ignoring doubts and digging your own path." Many of the other job postings on the 4A site avoid the "game wizard/ninja/Jedi" tendencies that are common in passionate industries, accept critical feedback and embrace the ideas of others This job posting stands out because it seems to emphasize the importance of.

"Metro Exodus," which will be released in 2019, with an enhanced version in May, is an incredibly visually impressive game, albeit tough on the PC. It makes sense that they would continue with similar projects in the future. Details from other listings call for applicants to have "experience with first- or third-person action titles" and a "passion for FPS games," and it doesn't look like they plan to stray far from the mechanics they are familiar with.

In his review of Metro Exodus, Andy Kelly called the sprawling game "full of surprises and great scenery."

However, the series of job postings is not an announcement, so we will have to wait a while for an official announcement from 4A.

Thanks, PSU.
