The latest indie film about chaotic animals, with penguin friends committing robberies

Maybe I've seen too much "Wallace and Gromit," but it doesn't take much to get me hooked on the idea of penguins committing crimes. This "Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time" is about just that.

"One heist might involve stealing a boat full of fish, another might involve stealing priceless art, and yet another might involve kidnapping a prized chef," the description on the store page says, and "Whether you do it loudly or quietly, whether you inflict a fatal blow or or not" is up to the penguins, it clearly states. This is because I believe that penguins are capable of committing murder if they so choose.

The stealth game is an online co-op game for up to four players and allows full character customization. From the trailer, this includes hats, glasses, and even little jackets, which is a bit precious. The penguins also have "realistic penguin noises" and the not-so-realistic ability (I hope) to carry around a baseball bat and hit people.

"Chaotic animal games" is a niche genre, but a good one; Untitled Goose Game was a big hit, but before that there was Goat Simulator and Catlateral Damage. Sometimes you just want to cause havoc. It's even better when you do it with friends.

The Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time is available on Steam Early Access for £11.39, with an additional 20% launch discount currently available.
