Dark Pictures The Devil in Me" trademark application leaked

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is still months away from release, but the name of what appears to be the next installment in Supermassive Games' horror series has been revealed through a trademark filing (@RobotBrush on Twitter discovered), titled "The Devil in Me," so it could be either Demonic Possession or Susie Quatro. It could be either.

The trademark, filed on June 28, is a compass, magnifying glass, and skull logo, suggesting a game involving exploration, investigation, and death. This doesn't narrow it down, does it?

Dark Pictures' previous game, Little Hope, was released in October 2020, and House of Ash is scheduled for release this October. Initially, Supermassive was aiming to release two Dark Pictures games a year, but it appears that they have shifted to a once-a-year schedule. Perhaps a teaser trailer for "The Devil in Me" will be released at the end of "House of Ashes," as was the case with the previous game.

Fraser saw a demo of "House of Ashes" in May, but said that with soldiers and CIA agents cast in an underground Sumerian temple, he was unsure who to root for. I'm tired of playing American soldiers," he said, "but the setting opens the door to some interesting scenarios and conundrums." Realistic operatives and gung-ho cowboys are forced to work with the enemy and must put aside jingoism and racism in order to survive. Or they may not, and all will be ruined. Dark, claustrophobic tunnels will not be the only source of tension."
