The HyperX Cloud Alpha has long been a top choice for the best gaming headsets. Last month, it was temporarily on sale at Best Buy for $60, and now it's back on sale again, this time on Amazon.

This is a wired gaming headset, and it may not be everyone's design of choice. However, the Cloud Alpha has a simple wired connection that works perfectly with PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and anything else with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Each ear cup features a 50mm driver for audio and red memory foam for a comfortable fit.

The headset's microphone is TeamSpeak and Discord certified for clear sound and can easily be removed if you already have a dedicated microphone (or want to use the Cloud Alpha as regular headphones).

We reviewed the Cloud Alpha in 2018 and this headset scored 90/100 for its excellent comfort and sound quality. Even at its original price of $100 it was a bargain, but the new sale price of $69.99 makes the Cloud Alpha definitely worth picking up if you're looking for a headset.
