Dream machine case, Corsair's 5000D, now marked down to $99

With the GPU shortage, now may not be the best time to build a PC, but with proper planning, you can stock up on certain parts at a discount, which can benefit you in the long run. 5000D enclosure with tempered glass side panels from Corsair is available at Woot (owned by Amazon) for The price has dropped to $98.99.

The case normally sells for $164.99, which is the current asking price on Amazon; the big discount at Woot is for a new, not refurbished model, which is much cheaper than buying the 5000D elsewhere.

Corsair is known for producing some of the best PC cases around. We like this case so much, especially the 5000D, that we chose a variation of it for our top-of-the-line (and recently redesigned) performance test rig (a $3,000 "Dream Machine" build).

Despite being a mid-tower case, there is room for not one, but two 360mm all-in-one liquid coolers. Out of the box, it comes with a pair of 120mm AirGuide fans, with the option to add more - up to ten 120mm fans or four 140mm fans.

Another nice feature of this case is the 25mm of space behind the motherboard tray. This makes it easy to route and store extra cables and keep the main section neat and tidy through the tempered glass side panel.

Simply put, this is a great case at a pleasing price.
