Major update to the session adds two new districts

The skateboarding sim "Session" now has two new maps to stomp on and all the tools needed to shoot the perfect video part.

Last night's update 0.0.0.28 added new content to the early access version of the skateboarding game: the first adds iconic New York spots Black Haba and Courthouse Drop, and the second adds a new under (and over) the High Line Bridge spots to explore.

It may be a little while before we can realistically ski New York, but Session's faithful recreations of some of the city's best spots will do a good job in the meantime.

The existing maps have also been tweaked a bit. The game's New York stage has been further expanded by adding an entirely new spot next to James Park, allowing skaters to skate where they couldn't before. Meanwhile, Philly now has its own skate store, which has been optimized and the skateable area expanded.

To get the best angles on these new and improved spots, developer crea-ture has done a "complete overhaul of the backend" and completely revamped the replay editor. New camera controls and better editing tools (finally undo and redo buttons!) should make it easier than ever to post squishy skate parts to the web.

The update also adds some more great features. The new "Skate Dice" mode can randomly generate trick challenges and volumetric clouds in the sky.

The session has been going through Early Access for a while and I've enjoyed stopping by over the past year. It's a good time to get into the skateboarding game, and thanks to some phenomenal indie shredders, things seem to be getting even better.
