Ubisoft has delisted "Might and Magic 10" to fix DRM issues.

In April, Ubisoft announced that it would shut down the servers for Might and Magic X: Legacy, saying that the servers would go offline. However, the shutdown disabled the game's strict DRM support, rendering the 2014 RPG completely unplayable.

After the shutdown on June 1, Might and Magic players found themselves not only locked out of the game's DLC, but unable to advance beyond Act 1. Nevertheless, Ubisoft was still selling both the game and the paid-for extras, which led to a massive backlash on Steam's forums and overwhelmingly negative reviews.

At the time, a Ubisoft spokesperson said the publisher was "aware of the reported issue and is investigating. Unfortunately, the solution appears to be to withdraw the game from Steam altogether, and it is now marked as unavailable for purchase at the publisher's request.

This, thankfully, means that no one will be picking up this broken RPG anytime soon. However, this is little consolation to existing "Might and Magic" players.

In an updated statement, a spokesperson for Ubisoft reiterated that they are working to fix Might & Magic X and explained their decision to remove the game from sale.

"We are constantly evaluating what needs to be done to deliver the best experience for our players, and on June 1, we suspended various services for several legacy games on PC, including Might & Magic X - Legacy.

"In the process, we unfortunately experienced some unexpected issues with this title that prevented new and returning players from accessing the game and its DLC. We are currently investigating all available options. In the meantime, we have decided to remove Might & Magic X - Legacy from sale until further notice."
