AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT, rumored to be available in August for $399

AMD's Radeon RX 6600 XT is rumored to hit store shelves in August for $399, and another GPU may be on the way by the end of summer. videocardz reports that hardware Youtubers Coreteks and Moore's Law is Dead say that AMD's popular leaker "Kepler" has said the card will launch for $399.

A few days ago, the Radeon RX 6600 and 6600 XT graphics cards were briefly listed on PowerColor's website, and the possibility that both Navi 23-based GPU cards will be available together relatively soon, adding weight to the August release window was suggested.

However, AMD does not appear to intend to sell these cards on their website, so prices may vary somewhat among retailers and system manufacturers; the $399 price point is higher than our previous estimate of $379, which is higher than the RX 6800 ($579) to RX 6700 XT ($479), following a downward price trend.

There is no official or unofficial information yet on the MSRP for the non-XT RX 6600, but perhaps the higher XT price gives AMD room to market this GPU a bit more competitively. We expect $299, but realistically it will likely be $349. It will only be a matter of time before other retailers accidentally reveal new information.

We will, of course, check the availability of these new cards as they are released and keep you informed of any new developments.
