Stardew Valley mods make it easier to find the last fish you need for your bundle.

General
Stardew Valley mods make it easier to find the last fish you need for your bundle.

Like most fishing minigames, fishing in "Stardew Valley" has its pros and cons. Not everyone finds the vanilla mini-game of tap-tap-tap-bounce to reel in fish to be too detailed, frustrating, or boring. There are a number of mods that make fishing easier or skip fishing altogether, but even for those who like the fishing experience, there is no disputing that finding the right fish can be a bit of an errand when you want to help Jody make a fish pot for dinner or pack a bag.

The new "Visible Fish" mod by shekurika of Nexus Mods makes it a little easier. With this mod, you can see the fish in the water before you even put out your rod.

The mod has additional options to change the maximum amount of fish on the map and the density of fish per surface tile. 200% density is 2 fish per tile, which would make a lot of pots. At least the fishy ones would be, but I don't know if I could eat seasonal vegetables any faster. Frankly, there will be a mod for that.

The Visible Fish mod can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, a Stardew Valley modding community that is still thriving five years after its initial release. Lauren recently compiled a list of Stardew Valley's best mods. As well as the Fishing Overhaul mod, which includes (just as important) additional cat textures.

Thanks, Polygon.
