The Hunt: Showdown's eerie swamps are teeming with beasts of all kinds. But none are as terrifying as the great green ogre that is said to inhabit the game's new DeSalle map.

Bayou Royal's new map recently appeared on test servers, giving players a taste of its location ahead of its official release this summer. However, Redditor zzilla8 spotted a surprising resident of Desar, posting that he found DreamWorks' big green mascot, Shrek's hut, on the new map.

If you're looking for the big green lad's house, zilla8 hints that it's somewhere in the lower left corner of the map. Just to the left of the main shack is also a toilet that has spawned a million Smash Mouth memes. This is nothing new for "Hunt: Showdown." The game already references everything from "Die Hard" to "Back to the Future." [From the game's flawless audio design to the brutal shootouts, Jacob has given us plenty of reasons to give Hunt: Showdown a shot in 2021. And who knows, maybe we'll even get to meet some big green celebrities by chance.
