No skates on EA Play Live, but "a little something" is coming tomorrow

EA Play Live is this Thursday, and if you're interested in Battlefield 2042, EA Sports games, or the rumored Dead Space remake, it's worth tuning in. Those interested in Star Wars, Mass Effect, or Dragon Age may be disappointed.

Now you can add Skate to the EA Play Live no-show list; Skate's official Twitter account has confirmed that something Skate-related, though not EA Play Live, will be on display or announced this week.

"What have we been up to?" it tweeted (no capitalization at the beginning of the sentence in this tweet, but that's because we're talking about a skate game and skaters don't use capital letters.) He added, "Well, we set up our studio in January and have had some super talented people join our family and are hard at work on a new game. Now, I know many of you are expecting us this week, but we're not ready for primetime yet, and we won't be at the EA Play Live show on Thursday. It is still early days and we are committed to getting this right.

"Our primary goal is not to mess it up. For everyone, for us, and for skating. Having said that, tomorrow we want to share a little something with you all."

EA Play Live will take place on July 22 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST and July 23 at 3am in Australia. Tyler summarizes what is likely to be announced here.
