General
Zoom is trying to get the game, since they are already playing the game during the Zoom call.

The popular videoconferencing app Zoom now has an app. I know what you're thinking: but Zoom's games are multiplayer games designed to be played with fellow videoconferees, and if you're unlucky, your boss can make you play.

One of the games is called Heads Up! by Ellen DeGeneres. It has been available on Android and iOS for years, but the implementation here makes sense. The game is described as "a fun twist on charades," and instead of discussing quarterly results, you can play with your workmates on Zoom; Kahoot!LGN Poker is poker; Werewolf with Friends is a multiplayer social deduction game; and the game is a "fun twist on the game of the year.

There are nine games in the app, most of which center around team building. I would never dive into Zoom with friends outside of work to enjoy these games. Consider this a warning.

The fact that Zoom has games is no great innovation; Microsoft Teams has games that focus on the same frivolous team-building fun, and the popular work chat app Slack has GameMonk ("Stir the creative juices a little Facebook Messenger also has games. It's not surprising, since they're already in pianos, printers, oscilloscopes, etc.
