Original Article The Razer BlackWidow Elite is a very nice keyboard: it's currently half off at $84.99 on Amazon.

The BlackWidow Elite is an upgraded version of the "widely superior" Razer BlackWidow, adding dedicated media keys, a multi-function dial, and a magnetic wrist rest to the package; three different key switches are available; and the BlackWidow Elite is a "tactile and clicky" keyboard that is available in three different styles: Razer Green, which is "tactile and clicky," Razer Orange, which is "tactile and silent," and Razer Yellow, which is "linear and silent. The keyboard also supports USB 2.0 and analog audio cable pass-through, which is handy if your PC is on the other side. And of course, the whole thing lights up like a Christmas tree, and the colorful "Chroma" backlighting can be configured in a variety of schemes.

I'm not a big fan of wildly glowing peripherals. They are very beautiful, sitting there pulsing viciously in the dark, but they are distracting. They are sturdy, responsive, and have a great typing feel, and the different styles of keyswitches allow for customization that you don't get with the membrane style.
