Get this HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop at Newegg now for only $730!

Some Cyber Monday gaming laptops are expensive and a bargain, but what if you still don't have the budget for a big bargain that costs $1,000 or more HP and Newegg offer this intelligently specced and attractively priced cheap HP and Newegg come to your rescue with this gaming laptop, which at $730 isn't cheap, but it's a steal if you're looking for affordable gaming.

The core configuration is a healthy combo of a mid-range CPU and an entry-level GPU: the Intel Core i5 10300H is a quad-core, 8-thread 10th generation Comet Lake chip that can boost up to 4.5GHz, and the GTX 1650 Ti graphics card is no problem for 1080p gaming. With minimal tweaking, it should be able to run the latest games at the screen's native resolution very smoothly. The 16.1" diagonal 1080p IPS screen is far better than the price would suggest.

For us, what makes this spec stand out is the amount of RAM you get for this price. While most budget machines get by with 8GB, HP managed to cram 12GB into this laptop. This should give you a little more room for games and apps before you reach for the scratch drive, which should improve performance a bit.

The 256GB PCIe SSD is a bit on the small side, but this could be upgraded to 512GB. In that case, RAM is reduced to 8GB and the overall cost goes up to $769.99, but it would still be worth doing. That's still a $140 savings over the regular price.

Otherwise, the specifications are mostly as expected, with plenty of USB ports (both Type-A and Type-C), an HDMI 2.0 connector for connecting to a monitor or TV, and an SD card reader. thanks to a collaboration between HP and Bang & Olufsen, onboard audio is also fully capable.
