Get the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 for only $599

When it comes to gaming laptops this Cyber Monday, the choices are pretty plentiful, but if you want something a little sleeker and more portable at the expense of gaming potential, the Surface Pro 7, available at Best Buy starting at $599, is definitely worth considering

Surface Pro 7.

The basic version of the Surface Pro 7 packs an i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage into its tiny frame, so it won't be able to run many games. i5 upgrades are available, doubling the RAM and storage. RAM and storage. The upgrade costs $300 and the price is $899. Both come with black type covers, but be warned that Microsoft's type covers leave something to be desired.

At Best Buy, the original price is $959, a savings of $360. At the Microsoft Store, however, the price is $880 for the basic configuration with type cover, which is not as big a price drop as it looks. However, it is still a $280 savings, so this deal is still easy to recommend.

I've been using the Surface Pro 6 outside of my desktop and have been getting plenty of use out of it this year when I'm rarely away from a flat surface. The Type Cover won't replace the XPS 12's decent keyboard, but it is much, much lighter as a result. When travel was still common, it took up very little space in my luggage, which really helped. Since it is effectively a tablet, it is easy to just pick up and use.

It's not something you want to get exclusively for gaming, but there are plenty of games you can still handle comfortably. However, I played quite a bit of Factorio on the Surface Pro 6 and had no problems.
