LG has set the bar for the game in large-screen OLED TVs with its superb CX series, but unfortunately, OLEDs have traditionally come at a big premium over LCDs. Until recently, LG's 65-inch CX OLED TV was reduced by $600 on Black Friday, which seemed like a steal at the time. But then Cyber Monday arrived and, as if to say "wait for the beer," the price was slashed by another $50 to $1,849.99 at Best Buy.

This is a significant discount on the best gaming TVs. Besides having an OLED panel (which alone is a selling point), what makes this TV great is that it has HDMI 2.1 connectivity, which paves the way for 4K HDR gaming at 120Hz, a bandwidth too wide for the traditional HDMI standard. The TV also offers PC-friendly facilities such as FreeSync Premium and G-Sync support.

In other words, you can take full advantage of the best graphics cards, such as the Georce RTX 30 series and AMD's Radeon RX 6000 series, as well as the next generation of game consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, which will take advantage of HDMI 2.1 capabilities (of course, this (That is, of course, if you can actually get your hands on this shiny new hardware).

Not everyone has the space or budget for a 65-inch OLED screen (or wants to splurge). LG offers smaller, more affordable options in its CX series. 55-inch models are $300 at Best Buy The price is a reduced $1,399.99. There is also a 48-inch model, which is the first OLED TV under 50 inches and is a pretty big deal for us PC gamers, but it is not actually the best buy of the bunch, as Best Buy has it for $1,449.99, a $50 discount. Still, it would be an option.

Again, this is the closest thing to perfection in 4K gaming TVs today. Of course, you could buy a $500 4K TV, but you would miss out on the beautiful contrast and color, quick response time, and wide viewing angles with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDR10 that the LG CX series offers. If you've got a cutting-edge GPU or a new gaming console, this is the perfect match.

It is also worth noting that Best Buy is extending its return period for the holiday season. This means that LG CXs and other products purchased by January 2, 2021, can be returned or exchanged until January 16, 2021 (although I doubt anyone will do that). But if it's a traditional monitor you're looking for - as much as you can, a 65-inch TV won't fit on your desk - check out the top class of Cyber Monday gaming monitors.
