Ultra-chic Samsung "Frame" TVs discounted by $600 on Cyber Monday

To stabilize its Cyber Monday TV deals sale, Samsung has slashed the price of its "Frame" line of 4K, 120Hz QLED TVs by several hundred dollars. While the name may not suggest it, this high-end TV mounts flat on the wall and looks like a framed painting.

Tired: "I don't even have a TV." Wired: "I do have a TV, but it looks like a Chagall painting.

The Frame is on sale in all sizes up to 75" for $2199.99 right now. Earlier this month, this 75" set was $2799.99, so that's $600 off. While this is still an expensive set, it's fun to see a TV that is actually a bargain (often priced down from a blatantly high list price where the TV actually won't sell).

A more reasonable 55-inch medium frame TV is on sale for $1099.99, $400 off the list price and $300 off the actual price a few weeks ago.

The caveat here is that even discounted, these chic TVs are not cheap. Unless you want your home, apartment, or bedroom to look like an art gallery in the alleyway of San Francisco's South of Market, you might want to look for other Cyber Monday TV deals available right now.

To be honest, I wasn't thinking about buying a TV within the next year, but these are fancy enough that I gave it a moment's thought. My justification is that quality framed giclee art prints often cost $300 or more, and this would be a TV and kill two birds with one stone. This is also a TV, killing two birds with one stone, right?

Yes. However, it's not the same at all. If you want to compare a few more prices, check out our TV deals here:
