Sennheiser gaming headsets for $90.

General
Sennheiser gaming headsets for $90.

If you want to get a little more serious about your audio setup, but still use your PC mostly for gaming, the Drop.com (the website formerly known as Massdrop) x Sennheiser PC37X is a great entry point into amps, DACS, and other audiophile escapades. Highly recommended as a great gateway, and an even better deal at $30 off.

We've featured many of the more traditional types of gaming headsets in our Cyber Monday gaming headset deals hub, but this one we thought was worth a special mention: the PC37X is the Sennheiser HD598, which has earned a reputation for audio clarity and quality and the same drivers as the HD600 headsets.

The pair aims to produce the natural sound that Sennheiser is known for, but at the high end, they tend to lean toward a sharper profile than most gaming headsets that we gamers are probably used to. I'm a big fan of the sound, but those who prefer the boomy bass that some gaming headsets have will find little of it.

Since this is officially a gaming headset, it also comes with the flip-up microphone design that we are used to seeing on Sennheiser (now EPOS) brand gaming headsets.

It also comes with detachable braided cables and comfortable velvet ear pads for long-lasting comfort. There is also a small volume wheel on the side of the ear cups so you don't have to look at the system settings and adjust them on the fly.

I also highlighted the Sennheiser alternatives above, specifically the Hifiman HE4XX. These are two pairs of headphones for headphones, so you need to bring your own microphone.
