"Grand Theft Auto Online" and "Red Dead Redemption 2" have begun their festive celebrations. Through December 30, the environments of both games will be decorated with holly trees, carolers will be running around, and plenty of gifts await those who log in. players of "GTA Online" will receive a variety of gifts, including the "Green Cluckin' Festive Sweater" shown in the photo above. and the "Holiday Care Package," which includes an assortment of clothing, several vehicle logos, enough weapons to destroy a military installation, and a free vehicle, the "Grotti Brioso 300." GTA Online continues to show tremendous longevity, and the recent Cayo Perico heist was the most substantial update since launch (generally well received by players, but most agree that it allows for one stealth section). Of particular note was the ability to play this content as a solo player, which Rockstar says GTA Online will have more of in the future.

Red Dead Online was recently released as a standalone game on Steam and the Epic Store (available for $5 until February 20, 2021), but it is not as big as its big brother. In fact, players of "Red Dead" have seen the post-launch support for "GTA Online," shoved their woo-woo in the spit of "GTA Online" and muttered, "The modern way is good, too." Just kidding: they dress up as clowns to protest the lack of updates. This year's Halloween event was one of the RDO's best: "The clowns were all over the place, and they were all over the place.
