General
Stories Untold Live is an interactive horror adventure being released on Twitter.

Stories Untold is a "weird and imaginative collection of horror stories" released in 2017, which we described in our 80/100 review as "an atmospheric collection of clever, surprising, interactive short stories with a gorgeous retro aesthetic." Real good: "The House Abandon," the first part of this series, seriously creeped me out by the end. I won't say more about this one, except that you can play it for free in the Steam demo.

Today, developer NoCode has added another twist to the tale with Stories Untold Live, a choice adventure-style game that is rolling out right now on Twitter. Duration seven days, "One story. a million nightmares. [There is a note in his pocket with the numbers 55.2, -2.6; he doesn't know what it means or why it was in his pocket, but he is sure it is important. Another note has a strange drawing on it.

You are not hurt, but it is cold, muddy, and getting dark. And then you hear a sound. Over and over. You don't know what it is.

What would you do?

Each action of the adventure - where to go, what to do - is chosen by a mere 10-minute Twitter vote. At this point, few people are still playing, and the most recent poll only garnered 61 votes, but that number will grow as the game continues to gain attention NoCode has a talent for telling sneaky, subversive stories, and we're excited to see what they come up with in the next few weeks.

Stories Untold is currently on sale for just $2.50 in the Steam Winter Sale, which started today. For more great winter sale deals, be sure to check out our best list.
