'The Witcher' Season 2 script page hints at beastly short story retelling

One of the "gifts" offered to Witcher fans during Netflix's recent "Six Days of Witcher Christmas" was to see a page from the Season 2 script. Followers of the Witcher account instead opted for the law of surprises and got a photo gallery of sexy Jaskia, but yesterday, Netflix offered a brief teaser of what's coming in one of the new episodes on its main Twitter account, and the goods anyway We came across it with.

And here it is! [Since Netflix's "The Witcher" is based primarily on Andrzej Sapkowski's books rather than CD Projekt's video games, this brief glance at the grisly midnight murders in a ruined village is not particularly informative for those of us more familiar with the latter than the former Not informative. [Fortunately, we suspect that the page may represent an episode based on the short story "A Grain of Truth." The story begins with Gerard discovering the bodies of a merchant and his wife, which leads him to a deserted manor where a monster named Nivellen seems to live.

What confirms this speculation is the fact that Nivellen has already been confirmed to appear in the show's second season: Netflix announced earlier this year that the role would be played by Tormund Giantsbane of "Game of Thrones," who is well known to non-Norwegians The company announced that Norwegian actor Christopher Hivju will play the role.

In addition, according to Wikipedia, "A Grain of Truth" is also one of two shorts from "The Last Wish" that have not yet been made into programs, the other being "The Voice of Reason."

Witcher goodies are likely to appear soon: Netflix said it will share "some of the unclaimed gifts" from "The Witch's Six Days of Christmas" in the next few days. If you missed what was billed, you can catch up on everything at witchernetflix.com.

Thanks, Polygon.
